Royal Associates Consulting Engineers (ROAS) has been involved in development projects in Eastern and Southern Africa region. The company has successfully completed over 20 consultancy assignments, covering a broad spectrum of sectors and specializations.

Royal Associate Consulting Engineers Ltd  has its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya and has offices in:

• Tanzania
• Kampala

ROAS was registered as a limited liability company in Kenya. The company has a majority local shareholding and it is managed and staffed by locals and other nationals qualified in a wide range of disciplines.  The company forms associations with other indigenous and foreign firms as necessary to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.

Royal Associates Consulting Engineers is registered with a number of international development agencies, ministries and organizations. These include International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) African Development Bank (AfDB), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), European Development Fund (EDF), UNEP, FAO,, BADEA, IDA,SIDA.

Royal Associates Consulting Engineers is known for its specialization in design and supervision of construction works, environmental Impact Assessment and audit, feasibility studies, preparation of tender document, project management, capacity building and training and other related areas. The firm also provides planning and engineering services appropriate to each stage of a project from inception and feasibility studies through to final commissioning. The protection of physical and social environment are important aspects of any project on which the firm’s environmental and social scientists and technologists provide technical assistance.
