Baseline Survey
The firm has engineers within the team who are experienced in filed surveys, typical engineering surveys and field work related to design of water supply and sewerage projects and rehabilitation of roads, bridges and drainage structures. The scope of experience covers equipment operations, recording of data, supervising teams, fieldwork planning and administration, modern material testing and analysis, and training.
The team has personnel at positions of a licensed surveyors, senior survey technicians, materials engineers, senior materials technicians, geologists, hydrologists, agriculturist, agriculture engineers, irrigation engineers, bridge engineers and transportation engineers. Some of the fieldwork and engineering survey tasks that the team has been engaged include control surveys for aerial photography as well as grade and alignment staking. It also includes cadastral, topographical and hydrological/meteorological surveys and pavement condition surveys.
Malawi: Survey of Construction Industry
The Consultant investigated and analyzed the construction industry in Malawi in relation to the country’s overall economic, agriculture and infrastructure development. The projected the demand for construction of roads, water systems, agro-industrial complexes and related civil works in Malawi in relation to the country’s overall economic development. The exercise was financed by Lemminkainen Oy of Finland.
