Kenya: Consultancy Services for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Study of Mundere – Ruambwa – Nambengele - Bukoma Beach (D251/E1201) Roads Project.
The project involved carrying out Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Study so as to establish the impact on environment and social effects of upgrading to bitumen standard of the road project from the current gravel/earth standards. The ESIA team reviewed existing designs and contract documents in liaison with other stakeholders to check the adequacy of adherence to safety aspects during the design and verify the inclusion of environmental concerns and mitigations.
