Kenya: Consultancy Services for Environmental and Social Impact Assesment (ESIA) Study of Illula-Elgeyo Boarder–Kapkoi Road (D296) Project

The project involved analyzing and evaluating the anticipated impacts of the proposed upgrading to bitumen standards of the road project on the physical, biological, social-cultural and social-economic environment; Reviewing of the existing data on the ongoing road project, social and economic activities in the project study area.

An Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Study report was prepared for the road project and seeking the necessary approval for the issuance of a License by NEMA.
